Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger Help

Okay everytime i try to delete a folder on my desktop i get a Dr Watson.... Error, i don't know if its related to it but i also get a internet explorer error sometimes when it closes.

IEXPLORE.EXE - Application Error
The instruction at "0x62304390" referenced memory at "0x62304390". The memory could not be "read"

Click OK to termenate the program

I can still use it after that also i just did a HjackThis scan

    Run a pass or two of Memtest-86.

    For just deleting the folder, not trying to fix the problem, do a safemode boot... if that fails, a recovery console boot will let you blow it up.

    As to the problem, memtest first, there's a decent amount of bad ram out there. :)

    well i can't do a mem test as it required use of floppies, and this computer dose not have a floppie drive... i think somehow i fixed it.. i managed to delete the folder after useing a scan... regscrubxp i think it was, if there is anyway to do a the mem without floppie just tell me and i will try it out... agian not totaly sure if the problems are gone or not, so i'll keep checking back to see if anyone has any advice on how to improve my comp... TY by the way

    Look under ISO images suitable for creating a bootable Memtest86 CD-ROM for that version of Memtest. :)
