80 Core Intel CPU

The idea looks good as far as power consumption among all the cores and each individual component of a core as well as the idea to be able to move more data. The problem will be manufacturing. The chip is going to be a monster! Not nessessarily in terms of mm^2 but it will be one tall son of a ...you know what. Even if they put one piece of memory under the cores and another on top....its still gonna be so tall off the PCB it will be like having an age old 8086 or something. And we thought we had to worry about knocking the corners off of Durons/Athlons....2-3x as tall here. (Oh....and if anyone chipped a core....that was no way knocking off transisters. There are layers upon layers of protective coatings that takes up most of the thickness of a chip.)
Any other thoughts, not sure if it was posted before.
