.bat file is it harmful

A friend of mine sent me a file named error there was onther aplication file in folder called Wicked games and i checked it out and it ran the error file.
i know some of this code but is it valid and would it hert my system

The short version: DO NOT RUN THAT FILE. Delete it.
It deletes critical system files and control panel extensions (like the Firewall manager). I don't even know if it could actually run fully, but let's not find out. I also strongly recommend deleting any files it came with and avoiding wherever you got them from in the future.
This might also be a good time for a system checkup (as least steps 1-6).
But i know the shutdown.exe command and i tried the start files and they were system files so it just told me system info. and the dir /s and tree shows me list of all my files so i thought it came with a file to send back this info to the virus maker.. (hidden trojan hourse)
In either case, DELETE it (all of it - including the e-mail if it came attached to one) and EMPTY your recycling bin.
