Enabling Cookies

I'm running the newest version of IE (I think 7.XX, forget whiche exactley) and I was wondering where the cookie options are. I can't seem to find anything relating to cookies, the only option I found was deleting cookies.

The reason I'm asking is because I think someone messed with them and a site I used to be able to log on now displays this message:
"[Insert Site] requires browser cookies. Please enable cookies in your browser and try again."

So any and all help will be very appreciated.

    Halo,

In IE7, go to Tools, then Internet Options. You'll get a new window, click the "Privacy" tab. The default setting for the slider is "Medium". If that still makes a problem for your site, click the "Sites" button right under that, you'll get another new window as shown on the attachment. Type in the address of the site and click the "Allow" button. Then click "OK" twice.

Try this (5. other options are available)
    1. Start Internet Explorer
    2. Under the “Tools” menu, click “Internet Options”
    3. Click the “Privacy” tab
    4. Click the “Advanced” button
    5. Put a check mark in the box for “Override Automatic Cookie Handling”, put another check mark in the “Always accept session cookies” box.
    6. Click “OK”
    7. Click “OK”
    8. Restart Internet Explorer

I did what both of you said and I still get an error message. I think that the malicious person that used my comp figured I may try and fix it. I know he's very fond of using command prompt, so is it possible he could have used that to deny my computer from using the site?
I used a proxy site and was able to go on the site just fine, except I couldn't use basic forum functions such as posting, so I would prefer to fix the problem instead of going around it.

Again, thanks for the help thus far.

Edit: I fixed the image links, sorry about that.

halo, look in the bottom right corner of your third screen shot. It says "Restricted site". Now go back into Internet Options, click the Security Tab, then hightlight "Restricted Sites", then click the "Sites" button right underneath that. If you scroll though (and you might just have the one entry) do you find the site you're trying to get to?
