as was mentioned in the D2 thread

the long awaited version 1.1 Diablo 2 Patch has been released, and HOLY BEJESUS. on top of that, for the past few days Blizzard has been setting up a massive sweep algorithm that they call the "Rust Storm" designed to wipe the B.Net servers clean of hacked items!

Anyway, just thought you guys'd like to know, the list of changes is below

    Only played it once online but DEAR GOD. I'm impressed at that patch considering how long that game has been out.

    Nammit! I just uninstalled it today, cause I was tired of waiting, and needed the space to download Gundam Wing episodes!

    i uninstalled it a while ago, b/c i hadn't played in a while, and i needed to kick the addiction to have time for asst. other things. This is making me want to re-install...but hey, what can ya do ;)

    The new patch is awesome! I've been playing as a necromancer and it kicks ass. Skeletons got beefed a ton and are actually worth something now. Definitly worth playing again if anyone is considering it.

    I agree with Norge..havn't tried a necro but it seems all the classes have been worked on

    Kudos Blizzard for finally getting their ass' in gear and putting this out

    It finally makes other skills useful and now you dont need to just put points into high level skills to make yourself better as everything (almost) gets boosted. w00t.
