Net Send Command

I have got the net send command working on my home network from my laptop to the main PC, but when someone tries sending the message back I do not receive it, we both have the messenger service runnning, so why doesnt this work?

    You are on a peer to peer network at home. I believe net send only works on a domain.

    EDIT: But then you say you've got it going one way? ^^forget this^^

    Net send does not require a domain. :)

    Are you running two different versions of Windows on the computers?
