PC Card adapter?

This may be a dumb question, but here it goes..

Do they make anything that is a PC Card adapter? Like, something that plugs into your pc/laptop (USB or something) that you can then put a PC Card into? The reason I ask is that I have a Dell Inspiron E1405 laptop and because I thought it had a PC card slot in it (it LOOKED like a PC Card slot), I purchased a card through T-Mobile so I could get internet. When I got the card and tried to insert it, it didn't go all the way in and after doing some research, it seems that my particular laptop didn't COME with a PC Card slot - but with an "ExpressCard" slot instead. Lots of chaos ensued as I frantically tried to cancel my t-mobile account and return the card to letstalk.com. So like I said, do they make any sort of adapter that can connect to my darn ExpressCard laptop and let me connect a PC Card, or am I just out of luck?

I have seen pci cards that a PCIMCIA card fits into.

Since you have a laptop, PCI cards will not work...

If you are looking to hook up a 3G wireless modem from your provider, this company makes a USB to PCMCIA adapter that only works with Wireless Modems. (They have a list)

Thanks for the info, troll. Looks like the card I had wouldn't be supported by that though (it was a Sony Ericsson). I did do a bit more research and it looks like Verizon Wireless has put out an Express Card (Novatel V640), but their service is $80 a month (I had a $50/month plan ). Oh well, maybe someday. Thanks to both of you who responded!
