Halo 2 for pc

Microsoft announced that it will be releasing Halo 2 for the computer. Microsoft has said that this game will be for Windows Vista, but do you think you could play it on XP home edition?

    Highly unlikely Microsoft's plan seems to be to kill off there own userbase and try to force a upgrade to vista.

    Not unlikely, just plain stupid. But I bet they tested and made sure it's 100% incompatible with XP... but that doesn't mean someone will figure out a way to get it to work :p

    I assume it will be DirectX10 only, or will look like poo if running on DirectX9, as I'm sure they are wanting to get that ball rolling ASAP. But I have not read that anywhere, pure speculation.

    Fine with me tho, I'm not a Halo fan.

    sharkydart made a joke the other day that MS simply added a line of code into every single function in the game:

    if (OS < Vista) BSOD;
