Cable on Roids?

As far as I know this was just a 6Mb download cable connection until I got nearly 1mB/sec (around 950kB) download last night. So I did a speedtest. Nearly crapped my pants on this one. Up was always around the same spot but the down varried from 2mb to this one at 17.6mb
