Tales of Symphonia
So I got my hands on it finally, I think I like it better than FFX when I had the PS2. Real time combat is much better than turn based in this case. I haven't gotten too far into it yet so I'll hold off on my review, but I think I will do a full review when I am done.
It's one of very few games I have for the Game Cube, by far the best I've played for any system in quite some time.

I was even more sad when I read the strategy guide afterward to see what I may have missed, and discovered that there were several points in the game where I could have made decisions about the plot and didn't even realise it...
For some reason I thought I was being given false choises (very popular in the RPG genre), and always just clicked yes when the girl came to talk to me in the night. I assumed I was choosing between talking to her, or skipping the talking altogether, I didn't realise that choosing not to talk to her would have given me the chance to lern more about or get closer to the other characters...
This is tough.
Once you master the battle system, and map your various buttons to other character's special moves, and learn how to chain attacks, you'll plow through those tough fights. It takes time though. The system is very complex.
