Vista & lmhosts

I have some users who VPN into a server to use an app that cannot deal with a \\192.168.10.2\foldername kind of path. So...in my XP boxes I've just used an lmhosts file to map \\servername to 192.168.10.2. Works fine............in XP. But as you can guess, a Vista box doesn't seem to import the lmhosts.

Anyone else seen this?
