Motherboard/PSU Woes

edited March 2007 in Hardware
So a year and a half ago i replaced the psu with higher wattage due to random shutdowns after adding hardware. Shortly after replacing it, I would push the power button and it would power for a split second and shut off. If I unplug it for about 5 seconds it powers up just fine. I have been just dealing with it until now. Just recently, I will be working away and out of nowhere I get the blue screen of death and it automatically reboots. It has even done it in the login screen. Very randon. What gives?

    Sounds like a bad connection.
One thing to do is turn off the re-boot so that you will be able to read the error message when it goes BSOD.
I would start with easy stuff though and run memtest.
