code 10: this device cannot start... 'ELP
I posted on this forum before asking for help with my graphics card problem, that post seems to be gone so i'll post again to see if anyone can help me :bigggrin:
My sound works fine for everything except DVDs, they play but with no sound. This has happened since I changed from a nVidia 6200SE TurboCache to a nVidia 7600GT. I have installed all the drivers but one of them, this is the WDM Video Capture (universal), the error message is code 10 (cannot start). I have checked the IRQs and as you can see there are some comflicting:
IRQ 0 System timer OK
IRQ 4 Communications Port (COM1) OK
IRQ 8 System CMOS/real time clock OK
IRQ 9 Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System OK
IRQ 9 SCSI/RAID Host Controller OK

I have been into the BIOS and I cannot change it, I have also checked the properties in the device manager and the option to change the IRQ channel is greyed out. What do I do? I have also tried re-installing the card and all my drivers are up-to-date.
