Buying a laptop

edited April 2007 in Hardware
So anyway... I'm planning on buying a laptop soon... I'd like to be able to run games decently (not incredible, but enough they work), be able to work with film, and do all the things a college laptop would normally have to do.

So far HP has had the best offers. I've looked at Toshiba and Alienware also, but I wasn't finding them to be as good. Any reccommendations, or warning?

Buy the lowest spec memory and buy from a 3rd party retailer, works out cheaper. Alienware is too overprised IMO, look at Dell also. Get the best cpu and graphic card you can afford and you are good to go.

    Happy Shopping.
