Unknown account

edited April 2007 in Science & Tech
I have a laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium.
I have only one account on it but when I have been looking at my documents and the security tab (under folder properties) I have found this:

Account unknown (S-1-5-21-70............)
I have no idea what or who this is. Please could you help? I don't want anyone being able to control my laptop. This would be my worst nightmare:sad2: .

Were those documents imported from a machine that was running Windows XP?

Well I put my documents on to a UBS pen drive and then placed them on my laptop.
I did use the transfer wizard to send over my music library from my computer that was running windows xp sp2.

p.s. Thx for the quick reply.

That's why. The unknown account is actually the user account you had configured for your Windows XP machine. All files are individually tagged with permissions, and they're carried with the file when you move it; Vista is just seeing a user account that isn't configured in the OS, but has been used to access the file in the past.
