Bad line?

Is this bad?

I've ignored it. I guess if my computer catches fire I'll answer my own question...

Damn, that 5v rail is low, according to your monitoring software. Do you have a multimeter handy? Check the 5v rail on a 4 pin molex connector and see what the psu is putting out. If that is low, then the psu is about to take a big dump on you. If it shows pretty close to 5v on the molex connector, then look to see if the ATX connector is making good contact. This thread here at overclockers.com is a real good read if your mobo is showing low 5v rails but the psu is kicking out a good 5v rail. They even show how to mod your board so that you can supplement the atx connector with another 5v feed if you have a board that keeps a low 5v rail.

BTW, if you don't have a multimeter yet, go buy you one as it can save considerable time and headache in diagnosing problems. You can get a decent one for around $25.

Might be a good idea. I noticed that two of the pins on the ATX connector are getting a little toasted too, they're turning brown. I posted that back on Icrontic with pictures months ago and the consensus was that it wasn't a big deal. I wonder if that could have something to do with the problem?

I always thought a low 5v would hurt OC'ing, but I'm running close to the max potential of my AGOIA right now (it's stable up to 1700mhz).

    Thanks for the info Mudd!
