Vista Search

Today is about the third time I've searched help and Google trying to get Vista search to work better. I often search a folder for all the files that contain a word or phrase. I don't think you can do that in Vista. I end up copying the entire folder to my XP laptop and searching it there.
- Am I missing something obvious? Has Microsoft decided that is not a useful search?
- And if so, is there some "use classic search" kind of checkbox so I can make Vista search like XP?

I'd be surprised if this was something that wasn't included in home premium (i have Vista business).
edit-
You can check to see what locations are indexed through the control panel (I just searched for 'index').
Me and Vista...its just going to be a rocky courtship.

Works for all versions of Vista
I know I'm not the user that Vista, and that Google Desktop Search thing for that matter, is aimed at. It took me a while to get used to the fact that I always had to make sure that "search hidden files and folders" switch was checked on strange XP machines. Now it seems we're getting less control over searches.
