Wireless print adaper - Belkin F1UP0002 does it show ink levels

I am looking for a device to make my grandads printer wireless on the network, but i need one which will give feedback to the wireless laptop as to how much ink is left it the ink cartridges. Does the F1UP0002?

I currently use the F1UP0001 and this does not support it (well i dont think it does)

Are there any other makes of wireless print server that do support the status monitor.

    I don't know that Belkin well but I've done my share of those. You're looking for bi-directional printing. Just check the Belkin site and look for that phrase. Its rare that these residential type print servers will allow the printer talking back to the computer.

    The best bet for that sort of thing is to buy a printer with a built in print server. Those tend to be the most compatible with their particular printer. I set up an HP multi-function last week (OJ 7410?) with a built-in wireless server and that did the entire bi thing for scanning, ink levels, faxing, etc.
