I had a $75 Amazon.com gift certificate set aside for this day. I ordered it yesterday, it will be here today. I am such a huge nintendo nerd. Paper Mario games are the bestest ever. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME.

    Sweet. I saw this coming out, so I finally picked up The Thousand Year Door. I've been playing it ikn my spare time in the last week. A lot of fun.

    The game is very much a rehash of the SPM we saw on Gamecube,,, fun and exciting if you like the old style of games :)

    You have no idea what you're talking about :wtf:. It's completely different from Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door on the gamecube. It's so totally NOT a rehash... Have you played SPM?

    I have played it, I didn't mean is is 100% the same but they game style is the same old mario with an added 3D interface with hidden goodies. I was more making the comment it is a great game if you like the old style of Nintendo games... nothing spectacular that made me over excited about it.

    Okay, cause you said "rehash" but the entire engine is different. It's no longer a turn-based RPG style game. Now it's more like the original super mario brothers - a jumping platformer with a few RPG elements thrown in. I mean, it's a totally different kind of game, just with paper graphics.

    I pre-ordered it from Amazon on the 17th with "free" 2-day prime membership, but it won't be until Monday. They shipped it out a day late causing it to be delayed until next week. I would have had it today if I had waited until the 18th (when Amazon had it in stock) to order it. :mad2: From the videos it looks to be really fun.
