memory question

Right now on my K8N Neo2 platinum MB I have 2 X 512 sticks of Patriot XBLK dual channel memory and I am running in 2T. The memory timing is 2 2 2 5. The CPU is a Athlon 64 FX-55. Should this memory be running 1T? I never changed anything in the bios settings when I installed the memory. It found it and everything was good to go. Should I set this to 1T? And what is the difference between 1T and 2T? The system is stable with an occasional blue screen that shows some kind of nv4_dll error, which might mean the old Gforce 6800GT is on its way out. If I can run 1T might this be a setting in the bios? Thanks for any help.....

It may be called 'command' or 'cmd rate' or some variation of that.
It may run at 1, it may not. You may need to bump voltages to get it to do it. It might take both CPU and memory voltage bumps.
Or it may not. All that you can do is try.
If it won't do it without relaxing timings you should run some benchmarks and see which is really faster.
