yea I know what the hell was I thinking right...a mac..haha...but what the hell right...i was getting bored playing with windows for the past 12 yrs now..

I got a used one. Not the most powerful mac availible, but I think it will do.

Intel Core Duo 2.0ghz (I know, not Core 2 Duo...but I'm poor)
1024mb DDR2
160GB SATA150 HDD..maybe SATA300...i havent exactly researched it...but i know its SATA
8x DL Drive
128mb x1600 ATi Video
20" Widescreen.
Keyboard, Mouse, and this remote thingy...
OSX Tiger and about 15 other software titles.

$700

I turned it on to make sure it worked...then ran back to my pc scared...I might play with it tonight but most likely this weekend. I know some of ya got mac's so expect ALOT of questions coming soon!

I bought a PowerBook for my son to go to school about a year and a half ago. I used it, exclusively, for about a week, my longest stint on a Mac. There not better (I know that will raise some reaction) or worse, just different. After I downloaded some updates, it took me about an hour to have it networked with my two Win boxes. I even got Remote Desktop working so I could just use the PBook for a week without installing programs and transferring files.

    Excellent hardware.
