It has nothing to do with your flash player. You do not have audio drivers installed on your system?

What type of computer are you using? ie Dell, HP, etc. Please provide model number as well.

    cheers

You are going to have to reinstall the audio drivers.

The first option you have is to go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and it might have the audio driver for you.

The second option is to locate the audio driver by looking it up by computer/motherboard maker. If you tell me the brand and model of your system I might be able to help you locate it.

    cheers :jared:

Sorry for jacking this thread but I am experiencing similar problems.

I have an Audigy2 sound card. I have sound when playing video's, music or DVD's off the hard drive but as soon as I stream anything off the net like a video clip from YouTube, I have no sound.

This problem only started when I installed Vista Transformation pack. I have since un-installed it in the hope it will fix my problem but to no avail.

    I have:

    1) Re-installed my Audigy drivers
    2) Re-installed Adobe Flash player
    3) Re-installed Apple Quick Time.
    4) Upgraded to the latest graphics driver
    5) Checked and re-checked my audio settings and volume controls

Nothing has worked so far. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thanks

Okay I have picked up something unusual which I have only noticed now.

Every time I try to set a default device for my MIDI music playback, it reverts back to a blank entry. I press 'OK' I press 'Apply' I have chosen every option in the drop down box but as soon as I exit the sounds and audio devices properties box, it reverts back to being blank.
Checking and un-checking the "Use only default devices" block does nothing either.

I have no idea if this effects my video streaming but if anyone knows how to fix this I would be really grateful.
