Icrontic PC Game Nights!

We have a handful of gamers here at IC so with that I found that a sweet game night on the weekends would be great to have, to allow our IC community members to join up and get some good gaming in.

The idea is mainly pick a few top games and find a few other IC members who would like to play.

Games:
TF2 - Valve
BFME2 - EA Games
BF2 - EA Games
C&C3 - EA Games

and many others...


I have a personal TS server setup that anyone can connect to to allow us to chat and have a place to meet up, here is the information:

Team Speak
Server Name: Sledge's Game Server
Server IP: 70.86.15.34:8838
Server Password: no password
TS Download: get it here

It is a 100 man server so no worries on the amount of people joining :)

Server is up 24/7 so feel free to shout out a night and game and hopefully members will confirm and game it up...

    I will make sure and get UT2k4 install and patched up to date this weekend along with getting TS installed.

    how bad will the ping be for us brits?, I would love to play some games with you guys as you seem a lot less stupid than some/all of my current clan.

    Got some good CnC3 gaming with Crazy Joe

    Had about 60 pred's 20 Mammoth's and a few Chicken Walkers :)

    So where are we on this? Now that it is summer and I am out of school I wouldn't mind spending more time playing games. Might as well be fraggin' some fellow IC members!

    Im gonna come join. I haven't played CnC3 much so I'll be a total newb and probably get pwned pretty hard. If this damn update ever finishes. I just downloaded a patch when I got it. damn. Wonder if this is gonna break my no-dvd.

    no. I have a Logitech MX410 wireless laser mouse. Was supposed to be the biggest baddest thing on the block when it first came out. Well, its a complete pos. I really want to find a nice wireless mouse to replace it, but I can't find one with the same ammount of buttons that is wireless. I mainly work in photoshop and other cs apps, but I like to play games too. This mouse is horrible for both. Trust me, this thing stuttering and stalling while I'm trying to draw a selection or drag a brush just about pushes me over the edge.

    umm.. the MX410 is perfect for gaming along with just about any Logitech mouse... Unless you broke it, or the underneath is dirty...

    I have a MX510, G5, G7, and a few others and they all game well :)

    This thing stutters all the time. Maybe not ever 410 is bad but this thing is an utter pos at times. Maybe my computer is just slow, but on my system it doesn't cut the cake. I'm gonna hold onto it until I get my new system built, which is gonna be cutting edge stuff. So if it still stutters I'll blame the mouse. For now I don't know what the problem is. One thing, I will never go back to a corded mouse.

    Can't we setup a proper website for IC gamers where it'll have schedules and stuff? Oh and can we also setup a server on Warrock?

    That may be a good idea for the near future.

    For now, the easiest way to know when we are online gaming it up is to idle in our IRC room, #icrontic.

    Like you said, hopefully in the future we can come up with an organized way to game together.

    We play a lot of HL2DM, BF2, CnC3 atm.
