Apple patches OSX v10.3 exclusively

edited October 2003 in Science & Tech
Apple have recently released an update patch for their OSX operating system, but only for v10.3. This means that the MAC maker has decided not fo fix any of the earlier versions of its operating systems, which forces users of the company's older OS's to pay a hefty sum to upgrade their software, at least if they want to stay secure.

So even though Windows may have more security flaws, at least ITS users get their updates for free.

Windows users don't if they are running 98 or 98SE, but it is 5 years old.

But still, this is an ass move by Apple.
