Whats up guys, Well my father swapped out his 5000+ and mobo for a E6600 and Mobo, worked fine then switched to a new case and PSU, A lian Li and silverstone 850. He is getting low voltage errors so he put back in the Fortron Source 750. Same errors.

Here is the readings

Vcore 2.06

Supposed to be Actual
3.3V 2.65V
5V 4.13V
12V 9.72V

Whats up with this?

Have you measured it with a multi meter ?

The motherboards sensors measurments mean nothing.

Yeah my 12V line reads 10.84 or something stupid low in some programs...reads 12.19 with a multimeter.

Not that expensive and well worth it.

Yep, I think i got mine at Lowes, maybe Home Depot. Might even be at places like Staples, Office Max and most likely CompUSA and Sears.

If you want one to borrow might want to check an auto store like AutoZone or AdvanceAuto Parts.

But, I had a mobo that read low, and gave low voltage error messages. Yes, the voltages were right, but that didn't stop the messages.

Did you read the voltages in the bios or with an app? Check in the bios. You might also want to install a different app to report voltages.

    Depends on your sensor.

Winbond's sensors seem to be fairly accurate when using everest home (at least with my old Asus A8V Deluxe *The same program causes windows to bosd's on my tyan*)

Well, as far as DMM's go, I'm really partial to flukes, though you pay for them.

    or even MotherboardMonitor.

I dont see how using an App would be different than the BIOS. Most likely they will be reading the same thing. How they interpret the data could be different but they are both open to bad sensors. Nothing beats a multimeter.
