Problem burning with Toshiba laptop

Hey - I have a Toshiba Satellite S6227 laptop with Vista on it.. No matter what program I use, I get errors when I try to burn a CD. Has anyone experienced this or know what can be done to fix it? Thanks in advance.

    It would probably help to let us know exactly what kind of error you get? Does it occur when starting the burning program, or starting the actual burning?

    when starting the actually buring process. I've tried it with multiple programs.
