uh oh - again with "O20 - Winlogon Notify"

I checked with HJT my other pc. It turns out that it too gets the line starting with O20 - Winlogon Notify in its HJT log. I have 2 pcs and just today I started a thread about my other computer about the same problem.

The computer about which I am opening this thread is one I try to be careful with. Win XP SP2, Firefox 2.0.0.3 with adblock and adblock filtersetg expansions, Java, AVG a/v free 7.5, AVG a/spyware free 7.5 - I daily keep them up to date and scan with the AVG programs everything before I run it.

Is it normal to get this line in my HJT log? O20 - Winlogon Notify: WgaLogon - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WgaLogon.dll

I'll be posting my HJT log now.

And the proverbial task manager screen caps:

    by decreasing %cpu usage:

    by decreasing memory usage:

in case something turned up at my task manager

I am using this computer to play World of Warcraft and chat using google talk and MSN (aka Windows Live Messenger). Furthermore, there are some passwords permanently stored in firefox, for example for fora such as this one. Not for internet mail, like gmail, though.

I would like to ask if any of these passwords (identities) are currently at risk.

Many thanks for your time and patience with me.

Fontas, your log is clean and passwords are safe.

That O20 entry is fine. It is Microsoft's Windows Genuine Advantage. It is there to show that your version of Windows is legit.

You are doing all the right things. :)
