Hi to all, i'm having difficulty trying to use OLE to link a word document into my drawing, i've tried the learning assistance to no avail. When i'm in autocad i click on INSERT-OLE, i'm then brought to the OLE dialogue box i then choose create new and highlight word document and click ok, word opens and i then choose which file i want to embed, this is as far as i've gone with it because the document isn't visible ie. a link to click on when the cursor is placed over the object in the drawing. If you're confused about my question sorry but it's a pain to explain the issue without actually demonstrating it.Thanks for any help or tips!ACE:confused:

Make sure you're doing it properly to begin with. In use the _INSERTOBJ command, choose "From file," choose your document and check the "Link" option. Right click on the inserted OLE object to set its properties. If you can't select them, right click on it and pick selectable, if you can't even see the OLE to begin with, OLEHIDE is the command for hiding and unhiding your OLE objects.
