Uru problems
I recently got a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook for my laptop, and I've enjoyed it quite a bit until I ran into this problem. While playing Uru, if I have hardware acceleration enabled for audio, certain audio clips will pause momentarily soon after starting, then pick up about half a second later, causing a quite noticeable sound lag in instances where someone is talking, or when a door slides shut. It happens when hardware acceleration is enabled, whether EAX is turned on or not. I've tried using the Audio Resolution Settings and Diagnostics control panel to reduce the quality, but the lag still appears. I've tried reducing the amount of hardware acceleration in the Sounds and Audio Devices control panel, but all that does is disable EAX so I can't select it from the Uru setup (and if I'm going to use hardware acceleration, I'm darn sure going to use EAX), the lag still occurs during those sounds. Any suggestions on things to try to clear up the lag, or am I stuck with having to disable hardware acceleration?

EDIT: I had a bit here about a dialog box that kept popping up. I restarted my computer because some software was giving me a hard time, and when I tried it again, it didn't pop up any more. And now I feel stupid for not restarting before testing things. I'm still having problem with the audio, though.
