AMD Warranty

On AMD's warranty page it says that the warranty will be null and void if you use any other heatsink/fan other than the one provided by AMD. Does anyone know if they actually enforce this?

    Yarr, here be th'better question: How kin they be tellin' if'n indeed ye did use a heatsink not o' their make?
