PC not shutting down......

Lately, my PC stops responding at the "Windows is shutting down" screen whenever I shut down or restart it. I've scanned it with quick heal antivirus, norton antivirus, spybot as well as ad-aware but I got nothing.
Is it a software problem or is there a problem with my registry?
Please help.

My system config.....

The log is clean but the computer is running in selective start up mode. This means that some processes aren't showing.

If you are not experiencing any other problems apart from the shut down issue then I suggest you go to Start > Run and type in "msconfig" (without the quotes) in the box.

Click OK and choose Normal startup up from the menu.

Reboot the computer into normal mode.

Run another HJT scan and post it here for further review.

On the shut down issue this could be caused by a number is things. Here is a link to some possible causes & cures ....

If you have no success with these let us know. More suggestions will follow.
