iTunes Vista Screen Lag - AsusEN6200TC512 (Video Card)

So I have this sweet machine I built and it runs great for almost everything. Here are the specs...
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
ABit AB9Pro
OCZ Gold 2 GB DDR2 PC2-6400
Western Digital 10K rpm 150GB
OCZ Powerstream 600ADJ
Vista Ultimate
But then I've got this for video
Asus EN6200TC512 PCI-X
So, I get this REALLY annoying screen lag when I'm in Cover Flow view, or really even when I'm in Album View.
I'm guessing this has to do with the fact that i have a really poor video card?!? I'm looking for recommendations for a better PCI-X video card... bear in mind I do NO gaming, very little DVD watching (I also noticed some crazy lag when trying to watch a movie straight from the DVD drive)... Mostly just internet and a TON of playing music via iTunes across my wireless internet connection to an airtunes router. I'm a big music fan.
P.S. I've got my rig hooked to the Dell FPW2005 (Dell Ultrasharp 20" Wide)... so I think it's probably got a digital DVI connection which would be worth utilizing (or maybe not).
Please help. Thanks in advance.

Install windows XP.
and to prime - i think you might be right, i found some article on apple's site about vista problems with itunes video playback (which is really just quicktime video playback) which might not really apply to the problem i'm having and definitely didn't completely fix it..
and I usually like apple, but sarcastic kudos to them for not fixing these kind of problems (and the crazy ipod problems) before vista was released
