Can you guys name a few games I could get on my laptop to play on the airplane since it's almost a 24 hour ride? The specs for my laptop are as follows:

AMD Turion 64 (not sure of speed)
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M
1 GB RAM
Windows XP Home

I think that's all the info you'll need. Let me know if you need more. I probably won't have an internet connection on the airplane, so no multiplayer-only games.

Would some classic Sega Genesis gaming do?

You could play Sid Meier's Civilization 3 (one iteration back in the franchise), and let me tell you.... That game can eat 24 hours like it was ten minutes...

You'll wonder how Civ fans ever get anything done...

Isn't that just like Age of the Empires? I was hoping for more FPS games than sims. And Sega games won't do because I get tired of them fast (Use to have genesis).

It's nothing like AoE. It's a turn based Empire sim. It can potentially take dozens of hours to finish a single game.

I think if I played a FPS on a plane, I would need to utilize their little sick bags a couple of times...
