Vista FAH

I'm encountering a weird issue that I can't seem to find a solution for. Running FAH on Vista 32-bit on a 2.8 P4 with 1GB of RAM, the FAH cores don't seem to operate as idle processes as well as they did on winXP. What I mean is, running folding now significantly hinders multitasking, such as watching videos. Its possible this is due to running high ram proteins, just curious if anyone had heard anything about this

Baron- I honestly don't know. But if I were to hazard a guess, I do know that Vista is a memory porker. Especially if you have all the sweets like Aero turned on. While FAH may be a idle or low priority client, it can use lotsa memory and possibly be making your Vista experience more difficult.

The conventional wisdom I've been seeing is that 2GB is a recommended quantity for Vista in general (and I've seen some urging even more). You could try sticking in another GB and see if that helps.
