So the bottom line then is, skidrowrocks needs to paint the walls of his room black, the outside walls white and wear a loose fitting black robe next to the skin with a white outer robe over the top.

I dont see how 2 robes could be cooler than a loose thin t-shirt and shorts (make sure you dont wear socks, they will make you a lot hotter). My room is insanely hot now, and its so humid here (and outside) that its hard to breath, the fan is just circulating hot dead air =/

or just do like was recently suggested to me... duct the case fans into a homemade dehydrator and make beef jerky.
