    Does this have to be bought in the store or can it be bought online, thus having to use a printed copy of your receit?

    You should be able to buy online and use a printed copy of your online receipt as proof.

    I just recieved the 512MB stick that I bought online.

    you'll of course need to send in a copy of your packing reciept & the UPC for the rebate.
