what is it for a duron 1000...

Hardware monitor from via says its 1.80.. I thought it was supposed to be 1.75

now on to my horror story...

I took my machine apart today.. I completely disassembled it to clean it a good one.. I cleaned everything.. reseated the cpu, new dab of as grease etc..

So i get it all back together and get the cables routed really cleanly and I plug it all back in and hit the power button and nothing... no so much as a sqweak... You should have seen the look of horror on my face... I check the power leads to the mobo, everything looks fine.. I give the main power lead a push.. it was not seated completely.. I plug it back in and still nothing.. by now my heart is racing as if I killed something I dont currently have the funds to replace it.. I recheck all the connections all are tight... I grab a spare enchance 300 watter I got in the closet and plug it in and it fires up, I think ok ill just yank out my aged antec 300watter and toss in the enhance.. so I pull it out and decide to test it outside the case (psu that is) I plug it into the board and it fires up... Some may recall a few weeks back I posted about my moms celery machine doing this.. I am finding it kinda wierd, to different machines, to totally different hardware configs both doing the same thing... anywho im back up and running.. but oh my, I really dont know if my outta shape 32 year old smokers heart can handle that again..

Anywho... TIA for the vcore info..

Heres a screen of it...

Not really. The poor little thing's not going to shrivel up and die from anything but being a Duron .

Feel free to leave it be, or back it down to spare some heat.

and that temperature looks fine too even if it is a idel temp. so nothing to worry about.

but if u want to back it off a bit in the bios, it's also fine. just do it on the next reboot.
