Poor write performance raid0

Heres my comp:
Epox 8KHA+ mobo
Promise Fastrak TX4 raid card (PCI) 64KB Stripe size
XP 1900+
512 MB PC2100
2x 40gb Maxtor ATA133 7200 RPM (They're in ATA100 mode)
PCI Cards top to bottom:
Promise Fastrak TX4
D-Link DFE-530TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
SB Live!
Usin Win XP

Any ideas to up write performance? I've allready tweaked PCI latencies...

    Whats teh OS and is the card sharing and IRQ with another card at the board level? YOu get only 4 irq's for all pci/agp/usb etc... devices at the MB level.

    How would I fix this? Manually assign IRQs?

    Your running a acpi HAl and it attempts to jam then together even more but at the MB level all your cards and acpi and USB only get 4 IRQ's Some vards don't "play" as well sharing at that level and sometimes simply moviong cards around helps.

    For instance on my KR7 pci slot 5 shares with the hpt raid so you always leave 5 empty

    I got it isolated to its own IRQ's (with the exception of the USB stuff) and I'm getting similiar result that are slightly better (4-5mb higher on write on the high end of the test)...
