Anyone use dynamic disks?

Should I use dynamic disks for my comp? Any advice will be welcome, thanks!:D

    are you gonna be doing any software raid? or do you have any hot plug HD's?

    Their are a few reasons you may want to and also a few reasons why you may not want to also as they are not compatible with some utilities and other OS's etc..

    Unless your doing software raid or scsi with XP I would skip it.

    Thanks for the advice, I thought It will help my drive to be more stable and faster. Seem to me it's a 64-bit? (I may be wrong) format. So I thought I can take the advantage of something there. I did tried on one of my secondary Harddrive, but I seem no different... I will skip it. Thanks again citrixmeta & Tex.

    Dynamic drives sometimes help. Mostly its used for the software raid though or to patch some of the scsi realted probs right now with XP.

    Hi Tex,

    WHat or haow does it benefit software raid? I have a 30gig software raid on my NF7-S which is used for gaming. Would it help?

    It allows you to have software raid. If your running software raid as setup thru disk management on win2k/win xp then you are running them as dynamic disks already.
