Tried removing the cpu and letting it run several times. Alas to no avail. Nothing changed... fans on, etc.. ablosute no post.
Now I am sick of this crap.
I'm sending the piece of crap back to the company I bought it from. Will get a refund and buy a different board.
The KX7-333 R will have to do for a while.
I don't really feel like taking a soldering iron to my mobo.. that really shouldn't be necessary... hell I had to modify the damned KX7 board to get my 2400 XP cpu to work. (Board didn't have the newest bios when I got it).
Good luck to all others trying to get the KD7 up and running.. I had no luck. : (

Cheers!
Have exactly the same problem and am about to inflict grevious bodily harm on my PC...
This is the second KD7-RAID board that I have had and both have utterly failed to post and show the exact same symptoms as MrBill's board.
The same config works fine on a KX7-333 RAID board.
Will update you all on progress.
What is OTP?
Will the raid array survive the change in MoBos?
Yeah, the array should survive just fine since both boards use the same HPT controller.
Good luck!
Mause tot.
Finito.
