Outlook Express Sending email from another program

edited October 2003 in Science & Tech
I am trying to send emails from Winfax Pro 10.0 through Outlook Express and I receive the warning:

"Another Program is trying to send email through Outlook Express - what would you like to do?

Send Now Do Not Send

The whole point of my forwarding an email from Winfax is to get a fax at my office. I cannot be available to approve this every time Winfax wants to forward an email.

I understand that OE does this to prevent the promulgation of viruses but I only use this account to forward and notify myself on pager of a new fax.

How do I get around this?

Without having WinFax pro i cant have a look at the settings, but is there nothing in the security preferences to allow this to occur?

Failing that i belive there are programmes out their that automatically confim actions for you, maybe that is the way to go?

I believe OE6 has a setting in the options to allow other apps to send emails. By default, it is disabled.

Use a different email service like Pegasus mail.
