Im "building" a rather ghetto O/C rig consisting of a large container, 20 ice blocks, a pump, block and of course nessescary tubing.

maze 4 waterblock = £40
pump eheim 1048 = £38
tubing 1/2" 4 - 5 foot = £5 + £2.00 for clips
container (50 litres) = £5
20 of these http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=651&productId=41728&categoryId=3781

£10

What u guys think? will let you know how i get on with it

Looks good, but i would rather go with the 1250 instead of the 1048. Also, why would you need 20 of those blue freezer packs? You gonna be switching them to keep the water chilled?

Ahhh, I see. best get about 30 tho. Once you start benchin', that H20 is gonna get mighty warm ;)

Good Luck with your setup and post pics!

With the size of the reservoir, itll take a long time to heat up this water and 30 is overkill, 20 is overkill, would cause too much condensation
