I just did it!!!! :) I recieved the mobo and got into business. Everything worked from the beggining fine. SOOOO HAPPPY :):) LOL
But there's one more problem.
1)
I have two sticks of mem.
One is Samsung pc-333 DDR and the second one is Samsung pc-400 DDR. I put the pc-400 one in slot 3 and the 333 one in slot 2 and it wouldn't boot. If I leave the 400 in slot 3 everything works fine. I didn't try reversing the memory (333 in slot 3 and 400 in slot 2). Why doesn't it work?! How to make it work?!
2)
How to enabe this double density RAM. I heard i can do it by putting the sticks in slot 3 and slot 2. Is it true.

    Oh, yea, I almost forgot.
I'm a little confused with the thing in the POST when it says that the RAM is woking at 420Mhz.
I want to put the memory and CPU in the same FSB frequency. I mean I want the CPU to work at 166Mhz and the RAM at 333Mhz (DDR). How to do this couse I'm confused with the divider settings in Soft menu (those divider 3/3, 3/4, 5/6 etc.)?

Need same speed for both for best results. FAINTLY possible that if you set the settings in BIOS for DDR333 , with CAS 3 that the RAM will run,but box will not run really well until you get two stocks of same speed. You could sell the DDR333 and get DDR400 or trade and pay a bunch extra with stick, but the DDR333 is cheap right now for used.

You need same speed big time when running that fast a RAM, and this kind of RAM handling cannot overclock only one stick or bank at all well.

Best overall is to run with 256 at DDR400 and sell or trade the DDR333 to someone who needs it adn take cash and soem more cash and get a DDR400 to match your faster one. Sorry.... It is an either\or, not a both thing with RAM for this kind of RAM use.

3\3 is closest to what you want.

If you set it to 3/3 and have the processor set to default the whole system including memory will run at the default speed of the CPU. I saw that you had an XP1600. As such you won't be able to unlock it by means of the mobo but you will be OK if the chip has been moded by means of connecting the L1 bridges. You should still be able to get somewhere by just increasing the FSB. My guess would be that you could get it to at least 160 with a little voltage.

Dual Channel DDR requires you to put sticks in separate bansk, you will select 100% in BIOS or sync or 1:1 to get memory in sync
