Disabling memory using methods outside of MaxPhysPage

Dear people I've tried using MaxPhysPage to get around my bad ram, but I'm still getting fatal exceptions in Half-Life at this addy 0028:FF081703

I have a 256 meg module; I understand MaxPhysPage only disables the last xx megs of ram so help me if you know a way to do that for the first xx megs. Thanks to all you!

    What about trying MinPhysPage?

    That will just make it use the first xx megs. If I find anything Mr. L I'll post :)

    No it dun.

    Maybe something simple like uselastmegs=192; Microsoft should do that.
