Half-Life 2 Question

Is the free half-life 2 that comes with the 9800XT the full version, thats playable online, with moding capabilities, because i heard that they are releasing 3 versions of the full game, single plaer, single player with online, and single player with online and modding capabilities.

    Yes, and not quite.

    ATI is giving away the full (both single and multi-player) version of Half Life 2.

    Valve will be releasing 3 versions of the game. One is single player only, one is Full version (single/multi player), and the last is the "Special Edition", which will supposedly be on DVD, and include a ton of other goodies, aside from the full version of the game.

    The last two versions (the Special Edition, and the Full) will have mod capability.
