Gothic 2!!!

So pretty recently i got a copy fo gothic 2. i was just curious if there were any fans of the series out there. did anyone play the first one? i only got a few hours into it, but i am totally immersed into gothic 2. it seems to be really well done and have a great story. just curious . . .

I recently picked up a really cheap copy of the original. The premise intrigued me when it came out, but I couldn't find it in stores the few times I looked (for some reason didn't look online). I haven't started it yet....I need to get rid of this real life crap so I can work my way through this stack of games...

Gothic is a German game series, that's why it's mostly unknown in America. In fact, part 2 was released here back in November 2002.
