Who wants to take a chance on raid controlllers?

I got a group to go in once before and we bought FIVE of these and they bascialy came out to a hundred bucks a piece. I tested them and flashed them all to the newest bios and shipped them out to everyone.

Here is a lot of TEN I have found in Ft. Worth near me.....but they are untested and not guaranteed with only one having a stick of ram but...

They have 18 hours left and they are at 240 bucks in auction. We could getthem all for 350 or so maybe.

Anybody want to go in with me and take a chance here? I need like 5 or 6 guys to put up 50 bucks a piece and lets see if we can get these suckers and enough working ones for one a piece and sell the others if they work to get our mony back, If all ten happened to work we could have 6 good ones to keep and sell the other 4 for maybe 400 bucks and the six good ones would cost nothing.

Who wants a megaraid Elite 1600 controller? These are the ones I keep posting ATTO's like this one from.

Tex

Just consider this a recommendation from me, as I got in on a deal like this the LAST time Tex found a lot of them, and all I can say is that Tex is a trader to be trusted. I got a $1000 caching raid controller for $100. Trust Tex, he's a fantastic trader.

The ones at auction are 3 volt cards so they do 64/66 nightshade. They are also univeral pci so they fit 32/33 slots also. You can tell by the keying at the front.

I just bought a 2 channel LVD model the other day for 20 bucks plus shipping that doesn't fit in a 64/66 slot. They fit in the older 64bit slots or in normal 32 bit slots.

Its a elite 1500 and is minus ram.

I'll let ya have that one for what I have in it if ya want? With shipping its like 30 bucks.

I was figuring you would show up and I was holding a spot for ya.

This is riskier then the last deal but .... The possibility of a big score is even greater.

Go read the thread at S-M and if you still want in post there.
