Right now I'm running a Netgear GA620T, I love it but reccomendations. Any 3com card, I've always had great luck with them. I've had a couple of the $20 netgears also, a little finiky at times but a great value.

I have had success with D-Link and linksys myself. Sure can't go wrong with a 3com or intel though, all up to what you are willing to spend.

If i was going to buy a nic id get a intel or a 3com. The intel gigabit cards can be found pretty cheap (and they are high quality).
My favorite cheap card is anything based on the realtek 8139 chipset, ive got about 8 of them in use, never had any problems with them.
The Linksys LNE100TX (there are MANY versions of this card) has given me bsods in the past using their drivers under 2k.
