This is the 4 channel SATA controller and includes FOUR sata to ide converters.

Don't these stupid converters cost like 20 bucks a pop?

    I just bought a 4 channel 1540 and its says it includes the four sata to ide converters for 50 bucks including shipping.

    It looks like the adapters run 20 bucks a pop basicaly even on eBay. I could sell the adapters and get the controller for free with 30 bucks to put towards a SATA drive I guess....

    Actually I would love to trade this sucker for a two channel 1520 and some change or other gear in trade or something?

    citrix hit me on messenger when your arround if you need any of these older scsi drives for the forum rig. I only have about 50 drives here... (long sigh....)
