I might be able to exchange my MSI video card 4400 for a 4600 but don't know if I would get any more speed. My card is doing 325/729 with stock cooling ,this is really very good.
The only difference will be the nVidia Ti4400 compared to the nVidia Ti4600 cards.
I would say there is probably not a lot of improvement over what you have at present.
IMO::I would look up the default performance for the Ti4400 and the Ti4600. Then make your decision on those facts.
Well it can't hurt anything to try and get some lower operating temps-especially when using the card for games,I have a thermaltake copper heatsink with memory coolers-I tried to cancel it but who cares-memory coolers go for $10 anyway, I will take off the stock heatsink and add my althon heatsink with a nu=ice fan on it-may try a 5volt resistor to lower the fan speed a little to cut down the noise-ialthon fans spin fast. I for got about that heatsink sitting in a box

Nebulous used an older P3 retail on my Visiontek Ti4600 (I was a tad cowardly at that time to do the mod by myself). Used artic silver adhesive.
Worked great at keeping the gpu cool, but didn't gain any overclock speed.
The problem wasn't overheating, it was lack of voltage. Same goes for the ramsinks we added, no benefit.
